Teaching Method

Based on my observations, in the learning process my teacher (Mrs. Biliran) uses the Student Center Learning method. This method prioritizes student participation in class, such as asking questions and group work methods. During the learning process the teacher will always appreciate students by giving sentences of praise and support such as "very good" or "Good answer".

Learning Materials and Innovation

    My cooperative teacher teaches using material from books and also online teaching materials. The teacher will use Canva slides (PPT) in presenting the material to attract students' attention and make it easier for students to learn the material. Apart from that, teachers also add pictures and videos to achieve learning objectives.

I have observed my teacher working together (Mrs. Biliran) in preparing the material before entering the classroom. He has prepared materials to be taught as creatively as possible using Canva technology and looking for teaching materials in the form of video animations that are very easy to understand.

The way groups learn to solve problems is very interesting because each group has different skills that can be developed, such as group 1 developing visual skills but still related to science (biology) material.

Sources of Learning and Technology

      My cooperative teacher. using the 10th grade Biology textbook in teaching. Sometimes he also uses literature that can be obtained from the internet, such as journals and online books. He usually uses PPT or video to present the material.

Authentic Assessment

       Based on my observations, there are several authentic assessments used in class such as questions and answers, group presentations, quizzes, practicums, presentation assignments, group performance assignments. All their scores will be recorded at the end of the quarter. Quarterly evaluations are given to evaluate what they have learned from the lessons. In this way, teachers will be able to know their knowledge and be able to improve what needs to be improved.
